Simple Moving Average

Simple Moving Average is the average stock price over a certain period of time and equal weighting is given to each daily price. It's derived from a simple calculation, shorter term average respond quickly to changes in the price of a stock, and longer term average responded slower.

Formula:

Sum of x period of closing price divided by x
