The script below will download Historical Stock Quotes from Google Finance, it is similar to one of the script in another page – download Historical Quote from Yahoo Finance, one is to download Historical quotes from Yahoo Finance Website and one is to download Historical quotes from Google Finance website. We have also added some options for you to choose the number of year of Historical Quotes to download and to download the data in ascending or descending order. To download historical stock quotes manually from Google Finance, goto Google Finance and type in the stock quotes. On the information page for the quotes you can find a link to the “Historical Prices”. Click on it and it will bring you to the historical prices page, specify the date you want and then click on the “Download to Spreadsheet” link.
